The Foundation for Family and Marriage Equality also has a Yahoo Group to discuss topics relevant to marriage equality and plan for Freedom to Marry week events. Interested in more than discussion? Foundation meetings are held every week from December through February in preparation for Freedom to Marry Week, and less frequently during the rest of the year. Join the Yahoo Group to receive meeting announcements and other information.

• Friday, February 12:

  March & Demonstration for the Right to Marry, 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

  Meet at County Clerk's Office, 201 Caroline St.

  Meet at 11:30 am. Same-sex couples will line up and enter for marriage licenses at 12:00 noon. (Register to participate in requesting a marriage license.) Others will demonstrate with signs.

  March to City Hall, 901 Bagby St.

  Rally and demonstration for the right to marry from 12:30 - 2:00 pm. Bring family/marriage rights protest signs. Extras will be available at the event.
